Dr. Amritha Thoomati

Dr. Amritha is a compassionate and experienced psychiatrist dedicated to improving mental health and emotional well-being. She completed her MBBS from Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune, followed by a clinical internship at Bharati Hospital. She went on to pursue her postgraduate training in Psychiatry at Alluri Sitarama Raju Academy of Medical Sciences, Eluru under NTR University of Health Sciences. Further honing her expertise, she earned a Fellowship in Psychosexual Medicine from JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research, Mysore.

Dr. Amritha has developed deep clinical expertise in managing a wide range of psychiatric conditions. She believes in a holistic and empathetic approach to care, fostering open dialogue and trust with every patient. She is also proudly queer-friendly creating a safe and inclusive space for individuals of all gender identities and sexual orientations.

Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Amritha is an ardent animal lover and a self proclaimed coffee fanatic. She enjoys heritage walks in and around Hyderabad that connect her to the stories of the past, and never misses a chance to discuss the latest Netflix series. Her multi-faceted personality helps her build relatable, human connections with her patients.
