Psychological Services
Department Of Clinical Psychology
The Department of Clinical Psychology at Asha Hospital comprises certified and experienced Clinical Psychologists who provide psychological services (assessments and interventions) to all age groups. The team of Psychologists are trained to conduct assessments that will help understand the patient’s condition as well as provide therapy and counselling services to overcome and manage these conditions.
When to meet a Psychologist?
If you or someone close to you is experiencing any psychological disorder, distress, or is facing any issue related to their mental health, they can reach out for help.
The patient is referred to a Psychiatrist, Psychologist or both depending on the condition. Some common symptoms may include sad mood, mood swings, anger problems, sleep disturbances, stress, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, etc. You can also reach out if you wish to talk through any problems you are facing.
Remember, there is no problem ‘too small’ or ‘too big’ to get help.
PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT SERVICES

If you or someone close to you is experiencing any psychological disorder, distress, and is unable to function normally. Some common symptoms are sad mood, mood swings, anger problems, sleep disturbances, suicidal thoughts. You can also reach out if you wish to talk through any problems you are facing. Remember, there is no problem ‘too small’ or ‘too big’.
Each session, is essentially to address your concerns. You describe your current situation, and your feelings about it, and then you and your therapist work together in trying to better understand and cope with the situation.
This varies from person to person. Therapy is really about whatever a client needs- a one-time conversation, a temporary source of support during a life transition, or an ongoing experience to optimize health physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually.
That depends on your personality and preferences. We would suggest trying both ways- do a traditional, in-person therapy session and then try a video session – and see which fits best for you.
Therapy can be a valuable tool that will help you to solve problems, learn new skills, set and achieve goals, improve your communication skills, or teach you new ways to track your emotions and keep your stress levels in check.
