Nurses training:

Every year around 749 nursing students from across all the colleges of Telangana undergo intensive Psychiatric training in the Asha hospital, which provides extensive exposure in various specialised clinics such as schizophrenic clinic, Bipolar clinic, ECT, Geriatric psychiatry, De-addiction clinic etc.

Psychology internship :

Around 40 Psychology students per year from affiliated colleges take up psychology internships; only three students per month are allotted so that students can have one to one learning experience in the hospital and understand the day to day roles performed by a psychologist from psychotherapies to psychometric assessments.

Observership:

Students of different medical streams come for observership- post MBBS, during MD and Pharma. During the internship, they are posted under different consultants to get oriented to different speciality clinics such as Geriatric Clinic, Bipolar Clinic, De-addiction clinic, Schizophrenia clinic, child and adolescent clinic to get a complete picture of various aspects of psychiatry and also posted in different departments like Psychology, Research,  ECT, HDU, Emergency, Neuromodulation etc.
